It has been a while since my days in Northlake Police, Illinois(It seems that many people from the town of Northlake, Texas have been to this blog thinking that my stories about Northlake Police Department were about their PD). Motel ambush wounds 2 Ind. officers; suspects flee

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. â€“ An ambush at a southern Indiana motel seriously wounded two police officers and set off a multistate manhunt for the two shooting suspects.The Jeffersonville officers were approaching a room in the motel off Interstate 65 Thursday evening to investigate suspicious activity, when the suspects started shooting, said Indiana State Police Sgt. Jerry Goodin. At least one officer returned fire, but it was unclear whether he hit anyone.Cpl. 16 Illegal Immigrants Suing Arizona Rancher

Roger Barnett has had his house broken into, trucks stolen, cattle killed and property damaged by illegal immigrants crossing the border via his 22,000-acre Arizona ranch and in 1998, he decided enough was enough.So he began rounding them up at gunpoint and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol. Barnett claims to have captured around 12,000 illegal immigrants attempting to cross his property – a spot along the border that authorities have deemed “an avenue of choice” – into the United States since then.Astonishingly, 16 of those illegally immigrants are now suing Barnett for $32 million in punitive damages for civil rights …Read more […..]
