Final Philly cop killer caught

PHILADELHPIA, Pa. — Eric DeShawn Floyd, 33, the fugitive wanted in the slaying of police Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski, was arrested last night and is expected to be arraigned this afternoon.The suspect, who had been on the run since Liczbinski’s murder on Saturday, was sleeping upstairs in a front bedroom at 5432 Windsor Ave., a boarded-up middle-of-the-block rowhouse, when police got him, Police Commissioner Charles H. N.H. officer's gun discharges, hits other officer

CONCORD, N.H. — A Concord police officer was shot in the chest by another officer yesterday morning while on duty but suffered only minor injuries because he was wearing a bulletproof vest, according to the state attorney general’s office.The shooting happened at 4:30 a.m. inside the Granite State Credit Union building on Sheep Davis Road. Four Concord police officers were inside the bank, which is under construction, when one officer’s handgun discharged and hit another officer in the chest, said Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeff Strelzin. Fired police officer seeks compensation or reinstatement

April 30, 2008By MARK LAWTON [email protected] A former police officer fired by the City of Northlake is suing the city. Daniel Rasic filed a suit Jan. 7 in U.S. District Court against the City of Northlake, Northlake police and fire commission members and Police Chief Dennis Koletsos. In his filing, Rasic asks the court to review the police and fire commission’s decision. He also seeks unspecified amount in back wages and damages or reinstatement as a police officer.
